Grand Elder
The Grand Elder is the oldest cheetah in all the tribes. They may belong to one specific tribe but the Keepers appointed them to keep as much of a peaceful balance over the tribes. Should a devastation happen that involves the loss of a Chief and Token at the same time the Grand Elder will take the authoritative role until the Sister's choose a new Chief for the Tribe. The Grand Elder will travel with Tokens when they go to receive their Chief stripes. When the Sisters need to pass on information to all Tribes, the Grand Elder will be addressed in their dreams.

Chief
The Chiefs are the cheetahs that lead their Tribes. They hold many responsibilities such as performing ceremonies and leading their Tribes into battle. They are respected by all cats and they are the ones to go to if there is a problem in their Tribe.

Token
The Tokens are the second in commands. They assign patrols and report back to the Chief. They must make sure that all orders the Chief gives are followed. They take responsibility of the Tribe when the Chief is not present. When a Chief dies the Token steps up to the Chief Rank.

Healer
The Healers tend to the injured and sick with the natural medicines they have. They are not trained for combat, they are trained to heal. If they need new supplies they are allowed outside of camp with another cat for protection. Healers go to The Whispering Waterfall once a moon to speak to the Council of Keepers for advice.

Sentries
The Sentries are the guards. They train to fight in combat and they have guard positions inside and outside the camp. The Sentries who guard outside the camp are called Outside Sentries and the Sentries who guard inside the camp are called Inside Sentries. They look for anything suspicious at the borders and they protect their Tribe’s territory. Since each Tribe has a big amount of territory to guard, Outside Sentries should patrol the borders about three times a day.

Hunters
The Hunters hunt for the Tribes. They hunt only in their territory and the only excuse to hunt in another Tribe’s territory is because of prey loss. The Hunters are also known as Trackers, because they are responsible to know the tracks of certain animals.

Messengers
The Messengers are the fastest cheetahs of the Tribes. Their responsibility is to carry messages to the Chief incase of emergency or in the middle of a battle. They are taught to how to dodge obstacles and how to fight with basic combat moves.

Tyros
The Tyros are young cats learning to be Sentries, Hunters, Messengers, or Healers once their reach their 6th moon.  They are given a mentor and are trained in the category that they want to be in. Once their mentor believes they are ready to become a Sentry, Hunter, Messenger, or Healer, the Tyro is grouped together with other Tyros of different categories, but the same age. These Tyros must travel to a bit of land called The Tyro’s Land and live there for one moon with a couple of Adult cheetahs. There, they must survive for one moon and use their skills to help each other (like a Tribe should be). The Adult cheetahs with them must not interfere or help with what the Tyros are doing, unless the Tyros are in danger of a predator. The Adult cheetahs are there to watch and report back to the Chief at the end of the moon. If the Tyros worked together and survived, then they are able to become a Sentry, Hunter, Messenger, or Healer. This journey is called The Quest.

Information on cubs residing in coalitions or belonging to loners is below

Queens
The Queens are the mothers of their Cubs. They take care of the Cubs and keep an eye on them so they don't get into trouble.

Elders
The Elders are retired cheetahs, too old to provide for the Tribes. Younger cats show their thanks for their work and loyalty to the Tribe by giving them prey to eat, cleaning out their nests, and cleaning their pelts for ticks. The Elders can tell Cubs stories and entertain them.

Loners and rogues

Loners are basically cheetahs that live alone. They don't cause the Tribes any kind of trouble, they're just looking out for themselves, and normally tend to just be passing through Tribe territory in search of prey. If they settle, the Tribes tend to chase them out so there is less competition for prey.
Rogues are similar to loners in the fact they live alone, but rogues are the ones who are more prone to causing trouble for the Tribes instead of loners. For example, a loner may just pass through and completely ignore the Tribes, where as a rogue may attack a tyro.

Coalitions

Rarely, loners and rogues form groups called coalitions. This where they work together in similar ways to a Tribe, catching food by working together. However, they do not have a territory to patrol, or any ranks like the Tribes do. Nor do they train their young the same way the Tribes do. They are basically just a travelling group of cheetahs who catch prey using teamwork instead of by themselves, thus increasing their chances of a catch. Coalitions have one Leader who is the first to get to the prey they bring back and set the rules. Leaders are usually the most strongest of the members of the coalition. They can be challenged by any time by a member, and they must fight. The winner is the one who wins. You can win by either making your opponent back down, or killing them.
Coalitions need to have a name. They can either be named after something, such as the Radi Coalition (Thunder Coalition), or after their Leader. So, if Vumbi made a coalition for example, it would be called Vumbi Coalition.

Rules

- To join a coalition, your cheetah must first be a loner. If it is a Tribe cat, it must be a loner and stay as one for at least two weeks before it can join a coalition.

- You must pay with Spots to become a loner, join a coalition, or create on.

- A loner must be at least 2 cycles old, however, we would like to see them even older. Young cheetahs don't have as much chance of survival as older cheetahs, and only the lucky ones would have make it over 3 cycles.

- There may only be three coalitions. There will be one big one, with eight members including the Leader. The other two will only have five members in, including the Leader.

- Loners, rogues and cheetahs in coalitions do not have hidden marks and gifts

- Check individual coalition rules as well before entering, which can be seen here

Information On Cubs For Coalitions And Loners

Coalitions || Depending on the coalitions and the rules of that coalition depends on how the cubs and mother are treated. By default, when they are born coalition cheetah cubs will be aged six moons, and after completing half of their assignments, will be able to age them to 1 cycle. They also have to do assignments to reach adulthood, but unlike Tribes, they get to skip the tyro assignments as coalitions do not have tyros. We advise that you have your cub start off young and age up a few moons with every assignment, to make it more realistic.

- Coalition cheetahs may not leave the coalition until they are past the age of 1 cycle. Life outside the coalition's protection is dangerous, filled with predators which the tribes would not tolerate, and a young cheetah would be likely to be slaughtered the moment it was alone. Until then, cubs must only RP with the coalition's cheetahs, and the occasional visitor to the coalition.

Assignments || -Submit your character being born (like right after they are born)
-Submit your character meeting the Leader for the first time
-Submit your character stalking prey or other coalition members
-Submit your character practicing fighting moves with another coalition member or cub
- Submit your character catching it's own prey without help
-Submit your character doing the test the coalition has set up for their cubs before becoming a true member of the coalition
-Submit 3 roleplays with +2 people, 3 posts each

Loners ||  Because life as a loner is so dangerous, we have introduced two NPCs to help loners look after cubs and raise them successfully. These NPCs will travel the coalition land searching for any mothers who are in need of help. Once they find these mothers, they will stay with the cubs, looking after them and protecting them from any danger whilst the mother does things which would have normally left the cubs in great danger, such as hunt.  Loner cubs must be aged between 4 moons and  1 cycle and 8 moons (The age of the litter can be decided by the parent RPers) and will also have to do assignments to reach adulthood, but unlike Tribes, they get to skip the tyro assignments as coalitions do not have tyros. We advise that you have your cub start off young and age up a few moons with every assignment, to make it more realistic.

-Similar to coalition cheetahs, because the territory of the coalitions is filled with dangers, loners may not leave the side of their mother or the two NPCs. Although you don't have to RP the NPCs or the mother directly, you must at least make it clear that they are close by.

Assignments || -Submit your character being born (like right after they are born)
-Submit your character playing with their mother or siblings
-Submit your character learning how to hunt
-Submit your character practicing basic defensive moves
- Submit your character catching it's own prey without help
-Submit your character fleeing from a predator
-Submit 3 roleplays with +2 people, 3 posts each

I'm going to make a character, and I'm thinking of making her a Tyro to become a Messenger. Is that okay?
