With buds on the trees, and flowers poking through the grass, there's no doubt now that Spring has finally arrived. The warmth has returned to the island, encouraging plenty of prey for the cheetahs to come out into the open to feed on the fresh shoots. The herbs are also growing well, and everything is peaceful. However, does it maybe feel slightly warmer than normal? News  Good/Useful  Threatening  Dangerous Hazardous  Mysterious  Neutral A new prophecy has been sent down to all Tribes:
A new danger has arisen,
One which will cause the destruction of all cheetahs.
Dedication, Protection and Dust must come together,
To save the Tribes as one.
What can this mean?Link to the Journal about it, explaining it more/ Crowded Water's Chief has gone missing! All that was found unusual in Crowded Water territory was a big hole in the middle of a meadow just east of the Village. All tribes should keep a look out for them! Both prey and predators are acting strangely. Birds have been seen leaving the island. Anyone with the Gift of Animal Tongue should ask around and gather what information they can from the other animals Another, stronger earthquake has struck the island, with much worse consequences. The Chiefs Den in Crooked Tree has collapsed, and huge boulders have fallen down the valley surrounding the Sunning Rock campsite. Luckily, no one was hurt, however, huge boulders now lie scattered in Sunning Rock Camp. Rocks landed on the Tyro Den, crushing it and making it inaccessible. The Healers Den has also collapsed, and only small cheetahs can now squeeze through the gaps to the trapped herbs inside. As the drought continues, only a few animals now remain on Sunning Rock territory. At night, the Tribe goes hungry, and it is becoming increasing difficult to find even one piece of prey a day.
Sunning Rock and Crooked Tree have agreed to share territories for hunting. Both Chiefs have stressed that the other Tribes cheetahs must not go near their Camp, and not to take more than they need. Also, do not linger of the other Tribes territory for too long. Would the outcome of this sudden unison allow the two Tribes to become stronger, or will it end in bloodshed and disaster?
Prey is plentiful in Crowded Water. However, so are the predators. Most of the islands enemies have been repelled from the other Tribes territories due to lack of water, and come to Crowded Water seeking it. Watch out Crowded Water, especially for lions, leopards and hyenas.
In Sunning Rock, the herb used to treat many things, from wounds to sunstroke, the cayenne pepper, has died due to the extreme conditions. Cheetahs of Sunning Rock, please try your best to stay out of trouble, we have no way of helping you if you are hurt.
